As sad as this story is, it gives us a prime example of the true price that Jesus paid for us. Jesus just stood there. He took an intense beating. A beating that would eventually take His life. He did this knowing that He was about to die for our sake.
Escaping and hiding my shame was no fairytale. My relationship with my boyfriend was hard. It was rocky. We were two lost kid’s attempting to come together as a family. We were prideful and selfish. I was fighting to keep my little family together.
It doesn’t matter where you go, what you do, who you do, because God still see’s you as his child. He doesn’t care how you look, or how you smell, guess what?! He loves you the same. Nothing you do can change the way God feels about you. Just know that He is not upset with you. He still loves you!
Following God is difficult at times, and even when we don’t know the reasons why something happens the way it does, we have to continue to have faith and know that God will never allow our sacrifices to go unseen. God will honor your faithfulness, it may not be right away, but He will make sure of it. Maybe one day I’ll get to see why I couldn’t go, and maybe I won’t, but my faith and my trust will always remain in God.

She didn’t change who she was, she stayed true to herself and that’s what Harry loved about her. So, take note, you don’t have to change to fit someone’s “type” if you’re meant for them they will love all of you just the way you are. You are meant to be great in your “you!”
I decided to keep it pushing and not allow myself to get in a sad or mad state of mind because I reminded myself of whose I was. I may not have a boyfriend, fiancé, or husband right now, but what I do have is that AGAPE love that man can’t give me; only Jesus can.
I have been studying women of the Bible for the month of May. I thought it was the right thing…
Yesterday we celebrated Palm Sunday. What is Palm Sunday?! It is a time where Jesus traveled to Jerusalem knowing that…
